After finishing a late afternoon photo session, I drove along the country highway.

Deciding that I needed to make a cell phone call, I pulled over into a residential area off onto the side of an entrance road.

After stopping the car, I noticed a beautiful horse in the field nearby, the muted colors of the sunset setting his coat all aglow.

He looked calm and unhurried.

Serene.

Content.

He had what he needed.

Food.

Water.

A place to call home.

Hebrews 13:5 reads:

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
