A friend gave me a ceramic cross with the inscription, “Have faith in all things.”
Of course, I don’t believe it is saying that we should trust all things.
I think it means that in every circumstance of life, we are to have faith in God.
When things are going well–have faith.
When life is difficult–have faith.
Hebrews 11:1 encourages us in this way:
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
We are to embrace the assurance that God loves us and He is in control.
In all things, we must continue to have faith in Him.
