Walking out to my car, I suddenly noticed him.
He was right by the car door that I was approaching.
Lying very still and cautiously, the snake was oddly motionless.
I took several photographs of him, yet he remained calm.
If I hadn’t been paying attention, I could have just stepped right on him.
That would have been bad….
Although I didn’t think he was a poisonous snake, he could’ve been.
In my life, I know I need to pay attention in all areas, not just the ground I happen to be walking on.
What dangers are lurking right in front of me?
If I listen to God’s guidance and pay attention, many troubles could surely be avoided.
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
