Have you ever looked back on a particularly trying time in your life and wondered how you got through it?

When all the problems seemed to be multiplying and stress threatened to rob you of any peace, why didn’t you just give up?

Where did your strength come from?

How did you seem to make the right decisions at the right time, making it to the other side?

When troubles come, God doesn’t abandon us.

He guides us.

He gives us strength.

As we look to Him, He gives us “sure-footedness” even as we walk on tall, rocky mountains of trouble.

 The Lord alone is God;
    God alone is our defense.
This God is my strong refuge;
    He makes my pathway safe.
 He makes me sure-footed as a deer;
    He keeps me safe on the mountains.

 2 Samuel 22:32-34
