Love Your Neighbor

One of the experts in Moses’ Teachings went to Jesus during the argument with the Sadducees. He saw how well Jesus answered them, so he asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of them all?”

Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Listen, Israel, the Lord our God is the only Lord. So love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’  The second most important commandment is this: ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.”

—Mark 12:28-31

A beautiful thought and truth, because all the other commandments hang on these two. When we help others essence we’re helping Jesus, when we hurt others essence we’re hurting Jesus. I want my ways to be good and helping to others love my neighbor, thanks.

  2. Oh I love this poster Myra =) Do you make your own posters? Do you have a Facebook page? =D ~Cam

Yes, the photos are mine. Over 2,500 of them! Once, I used a photo that someone had taken from my elementary school days and another time my son wanted to take a picture for the blog. Other than that, it’s always something that I have taken. God has placed a love for photography in my heart. I am on facebook, but it is a mix of my everyday life and photography sessions. I have a photography FB page, but I don’t keep it updated. Add me as a friend! Myra McCammon Johnson. 🙂 I am glad you liked the photo.
