I saw him from a distance.
A beautiful red winged blackbird.
Carefully, I tried to photograph him before he decided to fly away.
The bright red and yellow coloring of just a section of his feathers was so striking.
He didn’t belong to anyone in particular, except to say that he was God’s bird.
He was just living his life out in the grass and trees, meeting each day with his Creator’s provision.
And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
