How far away is God?

Tonight, the crescent moon and the planet Venus are situated very close to each other in the sky.

After a tiny amount of research, I found that Venus is currently 99.3 million miles from the Earth.

The moon is 235,800 miles away from Earth.

For humans, going to the moon is possible; we’ve done it before.

But going to Venus?

Being in orbit around the planet, gazing at its brightness with our own eyes, not through the lens of a telescope or a transmission from a satellite?

We haven’t yet gained the ability to allow mankind to travel so far.

Looking into the sky tonight, right beside the other, we see the two brightest objects.

Either is equally as accessible to God.
