The Watches of the Night

 On my bed I remember you;
    I think of you through the watches of the night.

–Psalm 63:6

When I get up in the morning, do I think about God?

As I am driving to work, do I consider my day and how God might have me live it?

When someone asks my opinion, do I answer in a way that is honorable in His sight?

As food is set before me on a table, do I pause and remember that God has blessed me with nourishment?

When evening shadows fall and it is time to light the house from within, do I reflect on the previous hours and His work in my life?

As I am finally in bed to rest, do I remember God and His great love for me?
