This morning, I attended a benefit brunch for a local women’s shelter.

It was hosted at a church more than an hour’s drive from the actual facility.

The building was beautiful. A large lake adorned the property across the road, giving a serene view.

After the event had ended, I was curious.

I walked around to see more.

Besides a large sanctuary, I found a small chapel room with stained glass windows and a piano.

The midday sun was highlighting the colors of each pane.

Silently, the windows gave honor to God as they adorned the walls of a room set apart for praise and prayer.

When Jesus entered Jerusalem not long before His crucifixion, the people received Him–

   “Hosanna to the Son of David!”

   “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”

   “Hosanna in the highest heaven!”

  When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”

  The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”

As Easter approaches, thoughts of Jesus’ sacrifice for us should be present.

As His light shines on us, do we give honor to God in adorning the world as those set apart to praise Him?

Do we have an answer to those who do not yet know Him when their hearts are stirred and they ask, "Who is this Jesus?"
