When we have a problem, we take it to someone we know can help us.
If our car won’t start, we take it to a mechanic.
If we have chest pains, we go to the emergency room at the hospital.
If a bathroom pipe is leaking, we call a plumber.
If we are depressed, we might see a counselor.
None of these avenues for help are bad, but we need to keep something in perspective.
People are people. They will do the best they can with what they have to offer in any given situation.
God is God. He can do all things in complete perfection and with all wisdom in all situations.
Job 9:8 says, "He’s the only one who can spread the heavens out.
He alone can walk on the waves of the ocean."
When we have a problem, we need to take it to God.
