Jesus said in Matthew 23:37, "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing."
God longs to have us in right relationship with Him. You may know someone like this:
A coworker has invited them to church several times. They’ve never attended.
Last year, their aging grandmother sent them a Bible for their birthday. It’s still in the box, unopened.
While going through a divorce, the attorney mentions joining a Christian support group he’s been to.
They refuse to go.
At a funeral recently, the speaker shook their hand and asked if they could pray for them. They declined.
God longs for us.
Could this "someone" be you?
